Senior Vice President, Enterprise Operational Excellence
Clay Ellis joined International Paper in 1992 and has served in a variety of engineering, manufacturing, and commercial general management roles. In 2019, he was named senior vice president, enterprise operational excellence, with responsibility for technology, supply chain, global sourcing, fiber supply, environment, health and safety and information technology.
In 2016, Clay was named vice president, Manufacturing, Global Cellulose Fibers, responsible for leading the pulp manufacturing teams and for safe, reliable operations across the business. His previous roles include vice president, manufacturing, North American Papers, vice president, Pulp and vice president, manufacturing.
Clay obtained his bachelor of science degree in chemical engineering from Louisiana State University. He also has a degree certificate from Harvard Business Advanced Management Program. An active member of his community, he is currently on the board for the Mid-South Fellowship of Christian Athletes.
